Casual walk kinda night

It's started. St. Louis heat. Gah.

But The Little wanted to go for a bike ride after dinner so we obliged. The hubs took a few pics for me.

This weekend was the annual event that I look forward to all year. Over Memorial Day there's an all day event called Gypsy Caravan. There's over 400 vendors spread out over 2 huge parking lots. It's awesome and cray cray. That's where I scored this necklace. I freakin' love it!

My fun job!

I still can't believe that I get to do it, but I'm a stylist. It's not my 9-5 but it brings in some extra flow. It's 95% for photography sessions. Great friends of mine are phenomenal photographers, Fresh Art Photography. If families choose to use me, I meet with them before hand to look at outfits. I help choose locations and come along to the shoot and work with poses, check for stray hairs, etc. It's a dream job for me, actually.

Blogger went through some sort of weirdness and deleted my blog. Thankfully I was only a few entries in and they were still accessible. So, it looks like I posted 4 in one day. Don't want you to get the wrong idea, I'm not some super blogger who wears four outfits in a day.

Walking through the Crew of J last week I saw a mannequin wearing 5 belts. I was in love. This is my first attempt. I'm not crazy about it, but got lots of weird reactions, which is always a good sign.

The cliche entry post!

I have no biz-nass starting any sort of style or fashion blog. So I'm not. Ha! I'm just going to keep a log of some of the clothes combos I try to pull off. That's it. If you found this, congratulations, cuz I'm sure not spreading the news. It makes me too nervous.

My reader is full of style and fashion blogs and I'm really loving them. Not sure what this will become but why not? It's a fun hobby for me. And right now, I need something like this.

So, whatevs. It is what it is. I'm starting a blog dedicated to clothes, etc.

There. I said it. Now I just need to hit "Publish Post." Although I suppose I should post an outfit? Hmmm. Okay, here's the first.

Funny story: I can't figure out how to get a good shot on the self timer so have to wait for the hubs to get home. I decided the light was great out front but as my hubs starting taking pics my neib came out on his deck and I suddenly felt very foolish. So, here you go: awkward pic #1. I guarantee there will be more.
